Tips for Making High Protein Chia Pudding
- Stir twice. Chia seeds love to clump. Stir right away, then again 5 to 15 minutes later for a smooth pudding.
- Pick your protein. Greek yogurt, blended cottage cheese, soy milk and protein powder all boost the protein. Mix and match to hit your goal.
- Use about 3 to 4 tablespoons of chia per serving. That’s where most of the fiber comes from.
- Chill overnight. Most recipes set in 2 to 3 hours, but overnight gives the thickest, creamiest texture.
- Meal prep in jars. Chia pudding keeps in the fridge for 4 to 5 days. Add fresh fruit and crunchy toppings right before eating.
- Load up on toppings. Berries, nut butter, hemp hearts and granola add even more protein and fiber.
Nutrition info is per serving as listed by each recipe creator and will vary with the brands and toppings you use.
