This last month has been filled with exciting milestones and continued growth in my blogging journey.
I started this website as a blog in April 2024, and while I still have moments of uncertainty, I’m amazed at how much I’ve learned and grown in just a few months.
I’m learning every day about expanding this blog as a complete beginner who had never blogged before this year.
My Stats
Before we dive into this month’s earnings, let’s take a look at my traffic sources to get a better understanding.
My number one traffic source continues to be TikTok. While it’s not ideal to rely heavily on one platform, I’m grateful for the consistency it provides as I work on diversifying my traffic.
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve hit a major milestone: 100,000 followers on TikTok as of writing this post. This growth has been so essential in driving traffic to my blog.
My YouTube channel is also showing promising growth. I’m almost at 1,000 subscribers, 994 to be exact, which is an exciting amount.
To maintain momentum on both platforms, I’ve increased my posting frequency. I’m now posting 3 times a day on TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
My Pinterest performance is experiencing a seasonal dip, which I anticipated. With summer in full swing, I suspect people are spending less time on their phones and more time outdoors enjoying the weather.
Google traffic was down for a little bit in July, but now the clicks are more consistent. I am getting on average around 100 clicks from traffic daily.
My sessions have increased to between 42,000 and 45,000 monthly, showing steady growth despite the competitive landscape and recent algorithm updates.
Overall, I’m pleased with these results and the consistent growth I’m seeing across platforms.

Mediavine Journey Income Report
This month, I’ve seen some improvements in my affiliate income, though I’m still relatively new to affiliate marketing and learning as I go.
As mentioned in my previous report, I’m part of Mediavine’s Journey program, their new ad offering for sites with lower traffic than their premium network.
My sessions for the last month have been between 42,000 and 45,000. While I’m still working towards the 50,000 session threshold for the main Mediavine network, I’m happy with the consistent month-over-month growth I’ve been achieving.
Now, let’s break down the income:
I earned $836.25 in ad revenue from Mediavine Journey this month. This is a nice increase from last month, and I’m starting to get a better sense of what to expect in terms of RPMs with this network.
For affiliate income: Bluehost: $56.49
Other Affiliates: around $200.
My total income this month was around $1,092.74.
These figures are estimates as I need to account for currency conversion and fees, but they give a good overview of my earnings this month.
My Goals
Looking ahead, I want to capitalize on my TikTok growth and push for even more engagement there. For YouTube, I’m excited to cross the 1,000 subscriber mark soon and will continue to focus on growing that channel.
I’m hoping to see my Pinterest performance pick up again as we move into fall, and I’ll be working on strategies to boost my presence there.
My primary focus remains on increasing my blog sessions. I’m getting closer to that 50,000-session goal for the main Mediavine network, and I’m determined to reach it in the coming months.
I also want to continue learning about and improving my affiliate marketing strategies. While I saw some growth this month, I know there’s still a lot of potential to tap into.
As always, I’ll keep documenting my journey and sharing my experiences. It’s been incredible to see how far I’ve come since April, and I’m excited to see what the rest of the year brings for my blog.
